Hosting free workshops on conditions that we commonly treat in our clinic is our way of giving back to our community.

At Physiomobility, we are passionate about serving our community’s health care needs not only by providing an array of quality healthcare services but by educating and empowering members of our community to live healthier and more active lives in the beautiful city of Toronto.

Workshops for your organization

We partner with organizations such as local community centers, schools, sports clubs and other organizations to provide financial sponsorship, educational workshops, and on-site therapeutic consultations.

Our current & past community involvement includes hosting many online webinars and workshops in our physiotherapy clinic in Don Mills as well as hosting annual health fair event in the CF Shops at Don Mills. We have participated in “Walk for Arthritis” by Arthritis Canada and supported the North York General Hospital foundation’s Orthowalk.

Our practitioners often provide educational seminars on topics such as low back pain and Sciatica, Rotator Cuff injuries, Dizziness & Balance, Incontinence and ergonomics for local organizations in their own location.

Whether you are a local business, school, or other organization committed to promoting health and wellness, we would love to partner with your group to educate and empower your team to live healthier and be more productive and perform better. Please contact us with details of your event or organization.

Here are some examples of services we can provide:

  • Workshops & online webinars: Customized to your audience on topics such as simple workplace stretching and strengthening exercises to prevent injuries, neck and back pain, basic core strengthening, carrying and lifting techniques, computer ergonomics, etc. We can have our massage therapists with us to not only participate in education but provide short hands-on treatments.
  • Lunch-hour lectures & webinars for your team on topics such as recognizing signs and symptoms of injury, principles of warm-up and stretching, ergonomics at home and work, or another physiotherapy/massage therapy/active rehabilitation related topics.
  • On-site event support: e.g. brief consultations with a physiotherapist and/or massage therapist potentially followed by physiotherapy and/or massage therapy treatments while providing information on injury prevention and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  • Ergonomic assessment & education for your employees
  • Ergonomic assessment & education for your employees who work from home

We are firm believers in the power of education and knowledge. We look forward to opportunities to promote physical activity, proper nutrition and well-being in our Toronto & North York communities.
