Roanne Ching

Roanne Ching completed her Massage Therapy Program at Medix College and is a member of the RMTAO (Registered Massage Therapy Association of Ontario). Prior to becoming an RMT, she graduated with a Bachelor in Science Degree of Nursing at Emilio Aguinaldo College in the Philippines.  Since immigrating to Canada, she decided to enroll in a more hands-on program while providing therapeutic care.

Roanne is passionate about the field of Massage Therapy and all it has to offer, whether it be for preventative treatment, post injury/recovery or for maintenance. The treatment plan she offers include therapeutic-oriented work such as Deep Tissue, a variety of Swedish techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Joint mobilizations, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Techniques. She educates her patients on how to incorporate the use of Hydrotherapy to promote circulation and/or decrease the swelling to decrease pain.

Roanne’s clinical experience and outreach programs gave her opportunities to handle patients suffering from Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, TMJ Disorder, Frozen Shoulder, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Pregnancy, strains and sprains, tendonitis/ tenosynovitis and repetitive stress injuries, MS, Parkinsons, Cerebral Palsy, SI joint pain, chronic pain and general stress. She believes that performing thorough assessments will lead to knowing the root cause of any problems, injuries or other concerns related to pain, numbness or tingling sensations, and decreased range of motions. She is dedicated to providing individualized treatments to ensure that the patients’ needs are met, because patient-care and rehabilitation are her number one focus of the treatment.
