Melissa is a Registered Physiotherapy resident who graduated from Queen’s University with a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy MSc. PT.
Melissa believes in the importance of patient-therapist collaboration when assessing and treating conditions. She often integrates her knowledge and experience with her patient’s narrative and lifestyle into a treatment plan. Therefore, every treatment plan is unique and cater to her patient’s individual goals. Melissa also believes in empowering her patients with the right tools to help them optimize their quality of life, which includes education about conditions, exercises, and lifestyle choices,
During her free time, Melissa enjoys physical activities such as hiking, swimming, body conditioning, and yoga. Melissa also finds baking and cooking fun and therapeutic.
