Vestibular Physiotherapist/Director/Founder

Gita is a Registered Physiotherapist and Certified advanced level vestibular therapist. Gita has been interested in assessing people with dizziness and providing vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management in the past 15 years of her career. Currently, she only offers a few clinical hours a week and dedicates most of this time to patients with dizziness & concussion. Gita continues to provide mentorship for physiotherapists interested in managing vestibular conditions and provides consultation for healthcare practitioners who are treating complex vestibular cases.

As a Physiotherapist, Gita has mainly worked in multidisciplinary clinics and has developed programs to improve community access to multidisciplinary rehabilitation care. She is passionate about the important role that physiotherapy and rehabilitation plays in improving the quality of life of people with chronic conditions. She has pursued her passion for educating patients and medical community through delivering several workshops and presentations to a variety of audiences. Gita is actively involved in clinical research and her interests include improving access to rehabilitation including vestibular rehabilitation, balance programs and falls prevention through community clinics and virtual platforms.

Gita is a lifelong learner and continues to develop her clinical skills by completing post graduate courses and programs. In recent years, most of her continuing education has been focused on vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and chronic pain management.
