Ghazal Bina

Ghazal Bina

Yoga & Fitness Instructor

Ghazal stepped on a yoga mat for the first time in her early twenties in her hometown, Tehran while she was a philosophy student. It became a significant part of her life for the past 10 years. It helped her grow stronger, get flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat.

She completed her 200 hour Vinyasa Flow at 889 Yoga Studio in Toronto & 300 hour Hatha & 200 hour Yoga Therapy in India. She also had the chance of completing Manju.P.Jois’ Ashtanga Primary Series workshop in Berlin & completing a 10 day Vipassana Retreat in Lumbini (Buddha’s Birth Place) in Nepal. She is currently doing another 300 hours of teacher training under the guidance of Ron Reid and Marla Joy at downward dog yoga center in Toronto.

She has been teaching privately and leading group classes in Iran, Cambodia and Canada so far for the past 6 years.

In her classes, She challenges the practitioners physically and mentally to help them find their inner gurus. She strongly believes that yoga is not a series of physical poses to show off your body. However the purpose of yoga is meditation, accepting the reality the way it is & learning the art of living in the moment.
