Dr. Richard Kim is a graduate of York University and obtained a degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). While attending CMCC, he received his certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University.
Dr. Kim has dealt with many musculoskeletal injuries and has extensive experience having worked with individuals of all types and activity levels, including Provincial and National soccer teams from the Ontario Soccer Association and Aurora Youth Soccer Club. Not only does he treat spinal health, but also all regions of the body for injury management and individual performance. His approach to therapy involves detecting mechanical dysfunction that patients present with and designing a treatment plan that will remediate the cause, restore proper function and alleviate pain. His treatments include, but are not limited to joint manipulation and mobilizations, contemporary medical acupuncture, active soft tissue therapy, manual therapy, electro/ultrasound therapy, kinesiotaping, shockwave therapy, and rehabilitative exercise program.
