Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Jooya is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During her studies at CMCC, she also completed the Neurofunctional Acupuncture program at McMaster University. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, she received her Bachelors degree in Health Science from the University of Ottawa.

As an evidence based practitioner, Dr. Jooya uses current research, patient values and clinical expertise to thoroughly assess, diagnose and provide individualized treatment plans to her patients. She uses various treatment techniques including chiropractic adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, modalities and rehabilitation. She ensures her patients have the appropriate education and tools to best understand their bodies and manage their pains. In her free time, you can find Dr. Jooya spending time outdoors, doing a HIIT workout or trying out new recipes.

She enjoys living a healthy and balanced lifestyle and it is her mission to guide others in doing the same and achieving their best selves. Dr. Jooya is a member of Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association and a member in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
