Daniel Shaw graduated in 2015 from the Massage Therapy program at Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School. Prior to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, Daniel taught tennis as a Certified OTA Tennis instructor. After spending years working in the sports field, he decided to focus his career in the Physical Rehabilitation field. With a background in athletics and exposure to various types of injuries, Daniel understands the impact pain, dysfunction and compensatory movement can have on participating in meaningful activities.
Daniel’s current focus is to help rebalance and bring awareness to the body. He applies various manual therapy techniques and client education to foster optimal and pain free movement. Daniel is a firm believer that massage is not only an effective treatment for medical conditions but can also be used as a preventative therapy.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Daniel practicing some form of self-care, whether that be at the gym, going for a hike, or finding a place to move and stretch.
