Archie graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2019. He received intensive education and experience in treating patients with various conditions and injuries including repetitive strains, stress, TMJ dysfunction, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, etc. During his sessions, he enjoys working together with patients and getting them involved in their healing by incorporating active movements, assessments, patient education and homecare exercises.
Competing in basketball in high school and then recreationally in Olympic style weightlifting, he was met and struggled with numerous injuries. Frustrated with recurring injuries, he took it upon himself to understand and learn ways to resolve his own injuries and correct his body mechanics and movements. Through this process, he developed a deep interest in the body, movement and general well-being. This new-found passion and his drive to help others inevitably led him to pursue a career in massage therapy.
Archie loves learning. In his spare time, if he is not learning something about the body, you can find him studying or practicing another language. He started learning Japanese in 2016 and since then has decided to take up language acquisition as a hobby. He has recently started learning Korean as well, so feel free to drop an “anyong” or a “konnichiwa” his way.
