Reza Farazdaghi began his physiotherapy journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2007, followed by a Master’s in 2010, and a PhD in 2019—all from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. Throughout his academic career, he was recognized for his excellence, being named Best Research Student in 2013 and Best Physiotherapist of the Year in both 2013 and 2019.

Reza is certified by the McKenzie Institute International in the management of low back pain. He is also rostered for spinal manipulation and dry needling, having completed training in manual therapy in 2007 and dry needling in 2013. Most recently, he completed advanced certification in the assessment and treatment of runners in April 2025, expanding his skill set in sports physiotherapy.

His professional background includes over 15 years of clinical experience as a physiotherapist and manual therapist. He is the founder and former director of Yazdanmehr Clinic, where he provided hands-on care and guided clinical practice. Reza has also worked as a sport physiotherapist at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and as a physiotherapist in nursing homes, helping older adults maintain mobility and quality of life.

In addition to his clinical work, Reza served as a hospital instructor and university lecturer from 2008 to 2017, mentoring the next generation of physiotherapists. His passion for physiotherapy is rooted in his athletic background—he has a competitive history  in basketball, winning a silver medal in 2003 and two bronze medals in 2004 and 2007 at the National University Olympiads.

Reza believes in a patient-centered approach, combining education, manual therapy, and tailored exercise programs to help patients meet their goals. He is especially  interested in orthopedics, sports injuries, chronic pain, and the biomechanics of running.
