Virtual Physiotherapy or tele-rehabilitation by Physiomobility

Physiomobility is expediting its plans to find a solution for providing care to our patients during thevirtual physiotherapy global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic via tele-rehabilitation technology.

In light of Canadian public health authorities’ current recommendations for social distancing, we now find it essential and critical to add virtual physiotherapy to our services so we can provide our practitioners with tools to provide much-needed care for our patients. The addition of tele-rehabilitation to our arsenal, allows us to provide support and treat our patients regardless of where they are.

We have been providing in-home physiotherapy as an alternative to our conventional physiotherapy for a few years now. Our In-home physiotherapy visits are convenient and cost-effective for patients who have mobility challenges, are recovering from an injury or surgery as well as for patients who have difficulty fitting in-person physiotherapy sessions into their busy schedule. Through our mobile services, we continue helping many busy professionals or parents, prenatal & postpartum women and elderly clients for the past.

Benefits of Our Virtual Physiotherapy Service

Physiomobility uses tele-rehabilitation technology by “Insighealth”, enabling our practitioners to meet with our patients over a secure platform using a computer or smartphone. We can now assist our patients to recover from injury, provide post-surgical rehab and assist with managing chronic pain or stress related to their condition or the current situation.

We understand that many of our patients had to cancel their elective surgeries and procedures. It is important to assist our patients to maintain their mobility and level of conditioning while we all wait for this crisis to be over.

Physiomobility on the Go is available to patients all over Ontario where our practitioners are licensed to provide care. Tele-rehabilitation is covered by many insurance plans including MVA and WSIB.
