Physiomobility’s Kids fitness program is for developing fundamental skills, flexibility, agility, coordination in kids aged 4-7.

What does this program entail?

Sabrina’s fitness program for kids is focused on developing fundamental skills such as basic strength and flexibility, balance, agility, and hand-eye coordination skills. It’s a progressive 8-week program where kids will constantly be developing and progressing their skills week to week.

How many classes are provided during this summer program?

Sabrina’s classes will be running  twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays starting on Monday, July 12th, 2021 through until September 01st, 2021. This is an 8-week program. You must register within the first two weeks of the program to participate.

How old does my child have to be to participate in this program?

Since this program is about developing fundamental skills for children, this is perfect for children from 4 to 7 years old. There will be two sets of classes. One for ages 4 and 5 years old, and one for ages 6 and 7 years old. Both classes will run twice a week.

What skill level is required for these classes?

Since the purpose of these classes is to develop fundamental skills, these classes would be considered beginner level! 

What time and how long is each class?

For children ages 4 and 5 years old, classes will be at 11:30am on Mondays and Wednesdays for 45min. For children ages 6 and 7 years old, classes will be at 12:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays for 45min. 

What is the cost for this program?

There is a fixed cost of $400 for the 8-week program. Since this is a progressive program, you must register within the first two weeks to participate in this program. Different payment plans are available. 

Is this program covered by Private Insurance or OHIP?

This program is NOT covered through private insurance or OHIP. Please contact our clinic at 416-444-4800 to inquire.

Will proper COVID Health and Safety Regulations and Protocols be implemented?

Yes! Just like our regular ongoing services at the clinic, all Public Health guidelines will be followed and implemented. In order to follow these protocols effectively and properly, class sizes are limited to 6 kids per class.

What are the sizes of the classes?

In order to follow these protocols effectively and properly, class sizes are limited to 6 kids per class.

Should I bring anything for my kids during the class?

We suggest bringing proper athletic wear, running shoes, a water bottle and a mandatory mask for your child.

When does registration close?

Registration closes on July 26th, 2021. You must register within the first two weeks of the program in order to participate.

Are parents allowed to attend these classes?

Parents will have to sign a consent form and fill out a disclaimer upon registration. Parents are more than welcome to talk to the exercise therapist before the class if they have any questions or concerns. However, due to COVID and Public Health guidelines, we must limit the amount of people in the clinic room, so parents will not be able to attend the actual class. Parents may wait in the wait area or  enjoy the CF Shops area!
