Keith Fernandes is a registered Physiotherapist, with extensive training, and a never-ending desire to
help those with persistent migraine and headache and neck issues. It has evolved to become his
exclusive professional focus. He grew up with migraine and understands it’s impact on life.

He is pleased to provide care for clients at Physiomobility Health Group with persistent migraine,
headache, with neck concerns acute or chronic, including lingering post-concussion issues, wry neck,
discogenic pain and pinched nerves, as well as post-operative neck needs.

He graduated with an honour’s degree in Kinesiology in 2000 from the University of Waterloo, and then earned a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2005 at Queen’s University. Training in assessing and treating various forms of headache is with the Watson Headache® Institute (Australia), and he is currently the only Watson Headache® Certified Practitioner residing in Canada. He studied in Spain, Italy, and Australia to develop this expertise. It is the only manual cervical approach scientifically validated to diminish the underlying disorder in migraine.

Other significant training includes credentials in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (M.D.T.) with the McKenzie Institute Canada. He has earned certification in ergonomic analysis, is a student of diverse movement arts, and is a trained yoga teacher. Acupuncture, cupping and postural analysis and correction are also well-honed skills. He takes pride in helping people propitiously and believes that this is only possible when treating the correct area, with the appropriate intensity.

Keith is an adjunct lecturer with the Department of Physical Therapy, at the University of Toronto and has mentored and managed students and healthcare practitioners for over 20 years. He is also an assessor for the Quality Assurance program of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
