Golfer’s elbow is a condition that affects the tendons connecting the elbow and the forearm, causing inflammation and pain. The most common cause of the condition is the overuse of muscles in the forearm that let you grip objects, flex your wrist and rotate the arm.
Flexing repetitively, gripping and swinging can create little tears in the tendons on the inside of the elbow.
