Physiomobility's Free Community Service DayMonthly Free Community Service Day is our way of giving back to our Don Mills & North York community. We look forward to opportunities to educate & promote physical activity, injury prevention and well-being in our Don Mills & North York communities.

Do you know someone who would benefit from this service, share the care and let them know. This service is available to everyone who experiences pain, or suffers from dizziness, balance issues or has a fear of falling. People who are proactive and want to learn how to stay active and prevent injuries are also welcome.

We’ll complete an evaluation, provide our clinical opinion, and recommend a suitable course of action.

The event will include the following free of charge:

  • Taking health history related to your cheif complaint.
  • Relevant tests conducted by a our physiotherapists and assistant for mobility, strength and balance.
  • Safe & simple exercise samples for you condition and level of ability
  • Free handouts to minimize the risk for falls within your home (When fear of falling or dizziness is your primary concern)
  • Adjustment of canes and walkers so they are at the appropriate height for you
  • Ask our physiotherapist your questions about any condition within the scope of a physiotherapist’s practice on pain, mobility issues, arthritis, dizziness, balance impairments and falls prevention.
  • Information about treatment options available to clients
  • One caregiver is welcome to accompany participant
