Mina is a registered physiotherapist practicing since 1998 and has extensive experience treating orthopaedic and neurological conditions in all ages including older adults and geriatric population.
Since her graduation, committed to providing quality patient care and enhancing her clinical knowledge, Mina has continued to expand her skill set by taking a number of post-graduate courses. Some of these include; McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis, Mulligan Concept, therapeutic taping as well as numerous manual therapy courses.
In addition to treating sports injuries, Mina has experience treating a wide range of orthopaedic conditions including pre and post-operative knee and hip rehabilitation as well as chronic conditions including arthritis and osteoporosis. Using a thorough assessment of the musculoskeletal and neurological systems, Mina identifies the underlying cause of the pain and provides her patients with the necessary information to manage pain and prevent injury re-occurrence. Mina’s treatment may include hands on techniques such as joint mobilization and soft tissue therapy, modalities and exercise to meet her patients’ individualized needs and goals. Mina’s goal is to educate her patients about their injury and to actively involve them in their own recovery and injury prevention while improving their health, well-being and quality of life. Mina is the in-home physiotherapy provider for patients of Physiomobility in Central GTA.
