Alex graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. He is an active member of the College of Kinesiologists, as well as the Ontario Kinesiology Association. He is also certified as an Exercise Physiologist with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.
Alex has a special interest in exercise prescription for acute and chronic conditions, including Orthopedic and Sports injuries, Metabolic Disorders and Cancer. He is a strong advocate for the benefits of physical activity for healthy aging, and enjoys working with the elderly population towards improving function and quality of life.
Alex is also experienced and highly interested in working with athletic populations for sport specific strength and conditioning, as well as post rehabilitation functional training.
Special populations are not his only focus, as Alex offers personal training to clients who are looking to lose/gain weight, improve health and energy levels and change their lifestyle for the better.
Alex is an avid athletic individual himself, with broad interests such as skiing, biking, martial arts and any adventure activities in natural settings.
