B.A. Kin (Hon.), Certified Pilates Instructor, CSEP- CPT
Adrienne graduated from York University with a Specialized Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science, and she is currently a third year Chiropractic student at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Adrienne was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis during adolescence and has long suffered minor weakness and pain in her back. After suffering a burst fracture in her spine in 2005, her physiotherapist recommended Pilates as part of her rehab to regain strength and stability in her spine. She was so impressed with the positive results and continued to incorporate Pilates in her regular fitness routine since.
She has practiced Pilates for over 10 years and became certified during her kinesiology degree to enhance rehabilitation with personal training clients. After having her first child three years ago, Pilates was also an integral part of bouncing back to pre-pregnancy health.
Adrienne is passionate about Pilates, and she believes it can help improve your body awareness and help improve quality of movement in everyday life. Pilates can be gentle or challenging, and can really compliment other forms of fitness and training.
She loves to work with new mothers, elderly persons, athletes, has a special interest in people with diabetes, and with people with various rehabilitation needs.
